I'm not saying we don't have rights, but what you are asking are the internal workings of a government agency.
You can't even vote. You can't even just change employers without hassle. You can't even just leave the country and come without proper documents. You can't even apply for a student loan. You can be deported any time you have a problem. You can't even renew your driver's license without showin proof of proper residency.
Even with GC your rights are still not as good as a US citizen.

First I called my few freinds in MT, WY and RI. Passed on info them since they are local.
Then I called all of them . Now a days they do not even transfer to the right person who deals with Immigration issues. They just ask for the message and pass on to them .

The first point on the august visa bulletin says:

does this means a visa was allocated to all applications received by jun 13??

Its high time for us who are already in US in H1 and struggling to get green card, as I know the tend to come to US in new college grads from India are reduced now..which is a good sign for India and bad sign for this country..now we are the ones who are in middle of ..

EB2 benefited from EB1 spillover once this bucket is full - I'm sure EB3 will move a great deal.
Another reason could also be EB2ROW spillover.
It is unfortunate for EB3 folks that their dates are not moving.
Let us wait for the official DOS bulletin and see what reasons they give to advance the dates significantly. Else IV can contact DOS to know how these projections were made.

AILA (http://www.aila.org/) has an analysis of the immigration bill in an article "Top 5 Concerns Regarding Employment-Based Immigration in S. 1348":

yabadaba, we will always have tough opposition when we try to do something. Your op-ed was very good and some people could not swallow it. You know some people can't imagine anyone from your country having good english! All these media efforts help us raise awareness, send our message across to the masses to counter anti immigrant propaganda. Due to our press coverage lawmaker offices too have started to take us seriously. Thanks to you and other IV members that are constantly helping this organization in media efforts, whether it is as small as writing emails, getting interviewed or writing articles. If you are done with contributing please urge your friends to do so. Previously lot of people used to ask what should they tell about IV achievments to friends. Now you have the July Visa bulletin Fiasco. Strike the iron while it is hot. Please urge you friends to contribute ASAP.

Suing Attorney General, Goeff Gorsky head of VO opinions section at dept of state, Evelyn Upchurh of TSC
They have 60 day to reply from end March 07, then requested additonal 30 days which my immigration attorney agreed to for professional ethics.
So we were at 90 at end Jun 07 and the day before the lawyer for attorney engeral called my lawyer,
Apparently my case file is very thin and as of that Date Geoff Gorsky had not replied to his own attorney!! Their attorney has requesed yet another 30 days and stated on the phone to my lawyer that he wants a resolution to my sons case. For more info go to www.expatsvoice.org
But will update here when I get any news

The worldwide level for annual employment-based preference immigrants is at least 140,000. Section 202 prescribes that the per-country limit for preference immigrants is set at 7% of the total annual family-sponsored and employment-based preference limits, i.e., 25,620. The dependent area limit is set at 2%, or 7,320.
So, don't you guys think that there more than 140,000 visas can be given away, if need me as it is this moment. So, I don't understand the retrogression???
It really appeared to me that by the way lofgren asked the questions, and her comments (So recapturing is first step, She mentions "i will let the co-author know that you like the bill to uscis/state dept officials" etc. See the video again if u missed it out) makes me think they will go ahead and introduce in house for voting. What happens in the house is upto your speculation. Lets cross the fingers and wait for updates.

A general question - Is it normal to see LUDs on the 485, approved 140, approved 765/131 a few (3) weeks after sending AC21/G28N documentation in?
I changed employers about a month ago (140 approved, 485 pending more than 180 days), and the new company filed AC21 on Nov 3. I saw a soft LUD on my 765, 131, 485, 140 yesterday (Nov 24) and another soft LUD on just my 485 today (Nov 25). I wonder if these have to do with the AC21 and G-28N updates or if it is a sign of I-140 revocation and I should expect a 485 denial soon?
Any response will be highly appreciated.

g 28 does produce soft LUds so it is normal. Now AC21 documentation - whether it reaches file or not we don't know.
