You read that correct. Your stay is legal until the decision on your case is done. It is nothing to do with your I94

I have a problem. My Employer want to know how long it`s take to become the EB3 Visa, I meen after PERM, I-140. I`m from Germany. I have read that it`s take 4 years till a visa will be available. It`s really so?

One of the comments on my post earlier today about the killed Border Patrol agent seemed pretty harsh - accusing most BP agents of being restrictionists with bad motives. I still think that's harsh and most Border Patrol agents are honestly out to do the necessary job of protecting our country's borders. But the timing of a major scandal involving Customs and Border Patrol certainly will make many people question just who the agency is hiring. New numbers are out on H-1B usage and the past week showed a substantial pickup in usage with more than 1700 numbers counted against the cap of 65,000. 36,600 H-1Bs have been counted now. I'm moving my exhaustion projection date up about two weeks. My target is based on a rolling four week usage average so variations from week to week are discounted. Usage over the last month has been about 1275 H-1Bs per week. On the masters cap of 20,000, the pace is pretty much the same with 400 petitions counted in the last week and total usage of...

The LA Times reports on the Nevada governor's race which has Latino Brian Sandoval seeking to become the next Republican governor of the state. Sandoval has risked alienating his Latino base by endorsing the Arizona law and tougher drivers license rules. The GOP is hoping that Latino voters will vote for someone who looks like them even if he or she supports policies that are the polar opposite of what they believe. I doubt very much that will happen. Voters vote their interests first and then may look at a person's ethnicity if two candidates are similar in their views....

My I-485 case has been transferred from Texas center to Nebraska and notice says it's for faster processing. My priority date is Nov 2003, EB3 category, indian national. I didn't expect they would be looking at my case now. Why would they transfer it? has anyone received any such notice?

My company changed address while my transfer H1b petition was pending. We moved just across the street from the original location and thus the company did not call USCIS to notify them of the address change because we still had access to our old mail box. Unfortuanately my approval notice was returned back as undeliverable and I received an email to that regard.
The secretary from office called USCIS and had the address changed immediately, its already been a month but we still haven't received the approval notice at the new address...has any one else here has similar experience...how long do you think we should wait before we call the USCIS again ?
